Furuno DRS6AX 6kW Open Array Radar for Offshore Navigation

The Furuno DRS6AX is a 6 kW X‑Class UHD open‑array marine radar system designed for long-range and high‑definition performance. It offers a detection range up to 96 nautical miles and supports 3.5′, 4′, or 6′ slotted waveguide antennas with narrow beamwidths (down to 1.35°) for sharp target resolution. The pedestal is 20% lighter than previous models and incorporates a low-noise motor for quieter operation. It features Fast Target Tracking™, allowing you to instantly display heading and speed vectors for up to 30 targets. A specialized Bird Mode helps detect and separate flocks of birds from vessels, even showing echo trails. The radar has a minimum detection range of around 20 m, making it effective for both close-in and distant contacts. It runs on 24 V DC, eliminating the need for a separate power supply unit. The system integrates seamlessly with Furuno’s NavNet TZtouch, TZtouch 2, and TZtouch 3 multi-function displays.
