Furuno GP39 Colour GPS for Professional Marine Survey Use

The Furuno GP39 is a fixed marine GPS navigator featuring a bright, 4.2″ high‑resolution color LCD and a 12-channel receiver with integrated SBAS (WAAS/EGNOS/MSAS) for reliable and accurate position fixing. It supports up to 3,000 track points, 10,000 waypoints, and 100 routes (30 waypoints each), making it very capable for navigation and surveying tasks. It offers seven display modes—including Plotter, Highway, Steering, Navigation data, Satellite Monitor, plus two user‑customizable screens—for flexible information presentation. Data such as waypoints and routes can be exported and imported via USB or signal converter. The GP39 can be networked via NMEA 0183 to sonar, radar, or other instruments, and can also display received target coordinates (TLL sentences). It draws 12‑24 VDC power and has a rugged housing: the display is IP55-rated, while the external antenna unit is IP56. The unit updates position once every second and is capable of operating at vessel speeds up to 1,000 kn. With a warm‑start time of ~30 s (cold start ~90 s) and a nominal accuracy of ~10 m (SBAS down to ~3 m), it’s a solid choice for reliable marine navigation.
