Fassmer Fast Rescue Boats are high-performance, SOLAS-certified rescue craft designed for rapid deployment in man-overboard or emergency situations. Built with a rugged GRP (fiberglass-reinforced polyester) hull, these boats combine speed, durability, and reliability for sustained service onboard commercial and passenger vessels. They are engineered for exceptional sea-keeping, ensuring stable handling even in rough offshore conditions. With either outboard or inboard engines and various propulsion options (including diesel), they offer flexible configurations tailored to different ship types. The boats can be fitted with fixed or inflatable self-righting devices, improving their survivability if capsized or damaged. Fassmer’s modular design approach allows for easy maintenance and long service intervals, minimizing downtime. Depending on the model, they can carry between 10 and 17 people and reach top speeds up to 33 knots. Lifting and release systems include FASSMER Duplex® on-load/off-load hooks compliant with MSC.320/321.
