Thin-Film Solar Panels are lightweight photovoltaic panels made by depositing one or more layers of semiconductor materials, such as cadmium telluride (CdTe) or amorphous silicon, onto glass, metal, or flexible substrates. They are cost-effective to produce, flexible in design, and perform well in low-light and high-temperature conditions. Although their efficiency is generally lower than crystalline panels, thin-film solar panels are ideal for large-scale projects, building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV), and applications where flexibility and aesthetics are important.
