The Spectrum WatchDog 3240 WiFi/Cellular Weather Station is a rugged, solar‑powered field station designed to monitor temperature, relative humidity, rainfall, wind speed, and wind direction. It features an internal data logger capable of storing up to 30,000 measurements (about 312 days at 15‑minute intervals). Communication options include built-in LTE‑M cellular (or LTE‑CAT4 in some versions), Wi‑Fi, USB, and Bluetooth for uploading and remote access via the SpecConnect cloud platform. The station includes a 3‑color LED status indicator (green, amber, red) for network and battery health. Power is supplied by an integrated 3.5 W solar panel backed up by a rechargeable 6 V, 4.5 Ah SLA battery, giving a minimum of 14 days at night without sun. Built to withstand harsh conditions, it operates between –30 °C and +55 °C, and has an IP65-rated enclosure for moisture, UV, and corrosion resistance. The unit mounts to a 1.25″ mast (U‑bolts included) for easy field deployment. Users can configure alerts (e.g. via phone call, SMS or email) when readings cross custom thresholds, making it ideal for agriculture, research, or remote weather monitoring.
