The Simrad V5035 Class A AIS is a fully compliant, IMO Type-approved transceiver designed for high-traffic and SOLAS-rated vessels, offering reliable ship-to-ship and ship-to-shore identification. It features a built-in 3.5″ colour LCD, a rotary knob, and six-button keypad for intuitive standalone operation—even without connecting to other displays. You can view AIS targets in multiple modes: a radar-style screen, coastline view, alphanumeric lists, or satellite view. The unit comes with a junction box, GPS antenna, pilot-plug assembly, power cable, and mounting kit, making it a complete system out of the box. It supports both NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000, enabling seamless integration with external sensors, Simrad chartplotters (GN70, MX610/612), radar, and ECDIS systems.
