The ActiveTarget 2 from Lowrance is a live‑view sonar system that gives anglers ultra‑high-resolution real‑time images of fish and underwater structures as they move around your boat. It displays live views in three orientations — Forward, Down, and Scout (overhead) — so you can track how fish respond to your lure from any direction. This next-generation system uses enhanced beam broadcast and improved stabilization to deliver smoother, clearer images even in rough water or at longer ranges. On compatible displays like HDS PRO, you can view multiple angles simultaneously, including 180° or Scout Wide when using a second ActiveTarget 2 transducer. Designed for durability, the sonar’s module is IP67-rated and operates from 10.8 V to 31.2 V DC while drawing up to 1.5 A. The transducer comes with a 25 ft (7.62 m) cable and supports various mounting options — trolling motor shaft, motor, or scout arm. Physically, the module weighs about 1.86 kg with dimensions of 219 × 192 × 73 mm, and the transducer weighs 1.21 kg.
