Products Description
The YDTC-13 Digital Thermometer from Yacht Devices is a marine-grade temperature sensor built specifically to work on NMEA 2000 (and SeaTalk NG) networks, ideal for yachts and boats. It measures ambient (gas) or liquid temperatures by using an external sensor on a 95 cm flexible stainless-steel-sleeved cable. The device supports a very wide temperature range from –55°C to +125°C (–67°F to +257°F) with an accuracy of ±0.5°C. It is plug-and-play: connect it to the NMEA 2000 backbone and the readings flow into compatible chartplotters or instrument displays. Users can configure what “type” of temperature the sensor reports — for example: air, sea, engine room, refrigerator, bait well, etc. The sensor’s data resolution is very fine (0.01 °C), and the device can store the last 48 hours of measurements in its internal RAM for trend-analysis or downloading later. It also supports digital switching based on temperature thresholds (can, for instance, automatically turn on or off pumps or fans). The device supports firmware updates and multiple configuration methods.
