The Chemical Spill Kit contains 2 single use packs; each pack absorbs up to 1 litre of chemical spill. The absorbent pad system is tested and approved to be used with over 60 different chemical spills. Each pack also contains all PPE to ensure fast user safety in the event of a hazardous chemical spill. The kit also include a wall bracket to ensure accessibility in areas where it may be needed. The one pack use format prevents fragmentation of components and ensures all items are present when opened.
The sorbent is made up of two layers that are sonically welded together. The top layer is made of a no lint, durable spun-bond polypropylene while the core/base layer is made from high loft melt-blown fibres. In addition the core/base layer has low slip treatment for areas of high foot traffic. GV Health Spill Packs and Kits hold the NHS Supply Chain contract for chemical spill cleaning. Packs can be purchased for stand-alone use or as refills for complete kits. We also supply packs to deal with larger spillages than one litre.
