Rayon-spandex blend fabric is a soft, stretchy textile that combines the silky, breathable qualities of rayon with the flexible, resilient properties of spandex (also known as elastane or Lycra). Typically composed of around 90–95% rayon and 5–10% spandex, this blend results in a lightweight, smooth fabric with excellent drape and a comfortable four-way stretch.
Rayon contributes a cool, moisture-absorbent feel and a soft, semi-lustrous finish, while spandex provides elasticity, shape retention, and wrinkle resistance. This makes the fabric ideal for form-fitting, movement-friendly garments.
