A pen-style pH meter (also known as a pH pen or pH tester pen) is a slim, compact, portable pH measuring instrument shaped roughly like a pen. It integrates the pH electrode (or at least measurement tip) into a small handheld body, allowing spot measurements of pH (and often temperature) of liquid (or semi-liquid) samples. These are meant for field work, quick lab checks, aquariums, hydroponics, food & beverage, water testing, etc.
