Koden KAT100 AIS Receiver for Clear Vessel Signal Data

The Koden KAT-100 is a rugged, IMO-compliant Class A AIS transceiver that provides real-time, two-way automatic identification system communication for commercial and SOLAS-type vessels. It features a high-contrast monochrome LCD panel with a rotary control knob, making it easy to browse dynamic and static ship data, such as MMSI, IMO number, vessel name, ETA, and more. The unit includes a built-in 16-channel GPS receiver and external antenna for accurate position, course, and speed reporting. Designed to be compact and powerful, it has seven serial data ports (including NMEA 0183 and RS-232) for seamless integration with radars, chartplotters, and other marine electronics. It supports multiple AIS receivers (1 transmitter + 3 receivers) to improve performance in high-traffic waterways. Operating on 10.8–31.2 V DC, it draws less than 12 W and is suitable for a variety of vessel types. Password protection helps safeguard the configuration and static ship data. Certified to meet IMO MSC.74(69) Annex 4, EU MED, FCC, USCG, and other regulatory standards, it ensures compliance and reliable performance at sea.
