Toroidal Inductors are passive electronic components designed with a wire coil wound uniformly around a toroid-shaped (doughnut-shaped) magnetic core. This closed-loop core geometry confines the magnetic field within the core, resulting in high efficiency, low electromagnetic interference (EMI), and minimal magnetic leakage compared to other inductor types.
They are widely used in power supplies, DC-DC converters, inverters, audio amplifiers, and industrial electronics, where stable inductance and high current handling are essential. The toroidal design enables higher inductance per turn, improved energy storage, and reduced core losses.
