The eLite 500W from ePropulsion is a highly compact and lightweight electric outboard motor, ideal as a clean, quiet alternative to small petrol engines for dinghies, inflatables, kayaks, and canoes. It integrates a 378 Wh 25.2 V lithium-ion battery into its streamlined body, giving it a runtime of about 45 minutes at full power. The motor supports a Sport Mode that boosts power up to 750W briefly, for extra speed when needed. It uses natural water-cooling (no extra cooling system), and its tiller folds down for easy carrying. Tilt angles are adjustable (up to 75°) for beaching or shallow water, and the shaft length is also adjustable, making it very versatile. It has a built-in smart display on the tiller for real-time battery and power data, plus a USB-C port to charge or power other devices. At just 6.7 kg (14.7 lb) for the standard shaft version, it’s among the lightest electric outboards available.
